Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026. This policy explains what TOPEDGE® collects when you browse or order from this website, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do about it.

1. What we collect

  • Order information: your name, mobile number, delivery address, email (optional), order contents and payment method.
  • Account information: if you register, your name, email and shipping details saved in your address book.
  • Usage information: pages viewed, referring site, browser and device type, collected through cookies and analytics.
  • Messages: anything you send through the contact form, WhatsApp or email.

2. Why we collect it

To process and deliver your order, to call you before a cash-on-delivery shipment (this is standard practice in Bangladesh and protects both of us), to answer support questions, to send order updates, and — only if you opt in — to send news about new drops and offers.

3. Cash on delivery and phone verification

For COD orders we call the number you provide to confirm the order before dispatch. The call number and address are shared with the courier partner hired for that delivery, and with them only for as long as the parcel is in transit.

4. Sharing

  • Courier and logistics partners who deliver parcels inside and outside Dhaka.
  • Payment providers (bKash, Nagad, card gateways) when you pay online. We never see or store full card numbers.
  • Hosting and email services that run this website and send your receipts.
  • Law enforcement in Bangladesh when a valid legal request requires it.

We do not sell your personal data. Ever.

5. Cookies

Cookies keep you signed in, keep your cart between visits, and remember your recently viewed items. Third-party analytics cookies tell us which products people look at most. You can block cookies in your browser, but the cart and checkout will stop working properly.

6. How long we keep data

Order records are kept for as long as Bangladesh tax and accounting rules require. Marketing consent is kept until you withdraw it. Contact messages are kept for two years so we can look up old complaints.

7. Your rights

You can ask us to confirm what we hold about you, correct wrong details, delete your account and profile data, or stop contacting you for marketing. Email privacy@topedge.com.bd with the subject “Data request”. We reply within 30 days. You can also update most of this yourself from your account page.

8. Security

The site runs over HTTPS, admin access is limited to named staff accounts, and payment pages are handled by licensed local gateways. No system is perfectly secure, so never send us your password or full card details by message.

9. Children

This store is aimed at adults. Anyone under 18 should order with a parent or guardian’s involvement.

10. Changes and law

We may update this page when the site or the law changes; the date at the top always shows the latest version. This policy is governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, including the Information and Communication Technology Act 2006 and the applicable rules on electronic commerce and consumer protection.
